Picture of Beauty

In the movie Picture of Beauty, Franek is an artistic blacksmith and a talented painter, who, along with his loyal assistant Hazel—also a talented artist—is tasked by a seductive brothel owner to create a piece for her establishment in the hopes of attracting more profit. Although his subjects at the brothel are beautiful, Franek desires higher-quality models, so he asks his assistant to seek out more suitable ones.

Meanwhile, a beautiful and determined political activist named Stephanie, who was recently expelled from university for her views, answers the call and immediately becomes infatuated with the shy artist. Her friend Julia would also make a perfect subject, but she has recently been arrested after escaping the clutches of her cruel and much older husband, who happens to be a well-known police officer. The group bands together to find a way to free Julia, allowing Franek to hope to complete what could become his masterpiece and perhaps even find love for himself…
