Green Chair 2 continues to revolve around a girl named Moon-Hee, played by Jin Hye-Kyung, who studied abroad in the United States before returning to Korea. She is currently working as a manager at an art institute. Moon-Hee has been living separately from her husband because he does not want a divorce. Moon-Hee has an intimate relationship with her long-time lover In-Gyu and Professor Yoon, and from there, the complicated stories surrounding them begin to unfold.
Meanwhile, in another context, Moon-Hee’s student, a young man named Joo-Won, always takes the initiative to draw Moon-Hee’s face during class. In fact, Joo-Won met and was impressed with Moon-Hee since he was a teenager, when his grandmother took him to a wedding, where he first saw Moon-Hee in a wedding dress, and since then, Moon-Hee’s image has always appeared in this young man’s mind. When he finally met her, he took the initiative to join her class with the hope of being able to be with the girl he had always had a crush on.
