Sex is an essential part of life, not only for reproduction but also as a physical need and something that sustains happiness. Therefore, since the advent of the film industry, sex-themed movies have been created. Alongside Japan’s unrestricted production of 18+ films, South Korean cinema has also produced numerous notable films that combine all the necessary elements, from the storyline and intimate scenes to the acting. Sex of Magic is a prime example. Released in 2002, it was considered one of the boldest films in South Korean cinema at the time, featuring raw scenes and a daring storyline that left many viewers shocked.
The plot of Sex of Magic revolves around a young man named Sung-Bin (Goo Bon-Seung), who appears to have a perfect life that many would envy. In addition to his handsome appearance, he has wealth, a good job, and a beautiful fiancée. However, only those involved know the one thing he lacks: in the bedroom, he cannot satisfy his wife (Gang Ye-Won).
To change this frustrating issue, he decides to embark on a highly risky plan. He starts meeting and getting to know different women, attempting to sleep with as many as possible to gradually master his sexual abilities. Miraculously, he transforms as if by magic, and when he returns home, he is finally able to satisfy his beautiful wife.
