Obsessed

As the film that brought actress Lim Ji-Yeon’s name closer to Asian audiences, and also associated her with the nickname “hot scene queen” because of her outstanding beauty and bold scenes, Obsessed 2014 has a highly rated script and a very talented cast. In particular, the male lead is the handsome man – the idol of many girls – Song Seung-Heon, who was very successful with the film “Autumn in My Heart”.

Set in 1969, the main character of Obsessed is Kim Jin-Pyeong (Song Seung-Heon), who has just returned to Korea after a period of time as a mercenary for the US during the Vietnam War. Thanks to his impressive achievements during the US invasion, he is highly trusted by the commander-in-chief, who is also his father-in-law, while most people in the military respect him. However, Jin-Pyeong has long been haunted by the brutality of this inhuman war.

One day, Kyung Woo-Jin (On Joo-Wan) is transferred to work for Kim Jin-Pyeong. Woo-Jin is the type of person who will say or do anything as long as he can please his boss. Soon after, Colonel Kim meets Jong Ga-Heun (Lim Ji-Yeon), who is the wife of his new subordinate. The couple also moves into the house across the street from Colonel Kim Jin-Pyeong and his wife (Cho Yeo-Jeong).

One fateful evening, Colonel Kim Jin-Pyeong plays with a bird in a cage on the porch of his neighbor’s house. The two accidentally exchange glances, and the neighbors begin to notice each other, especially after Kim saves Ga-Heun in the hospital, and then begins a secret love affair of the mercenary…
