Dad’s Friend

In the Korean movie 18+ Dad’s Friend 2016, Seok-ho, whose wife died 10 years ago, has no children and lives a simple life in the suburbs of Seoul, running an agricultural company. On his 55th birthday, his only friend Byeong-sik invites him to his house and makes him a birthday dinner. There is Se-hee, Byeong-sik’s daughter, who is now an adult and Seok-ho feels funny seeing her all grown up. Meanwhile, Se-hee and her boyfriend scheme to get Seok-ho’s money and succeed in approaching him. However, her boyfriend betrays her and she witnesses her divorced father having an affair with someone else. She decides to become a bad person but she has nowhere to go. Then she thinks of Seok-ho, who has always been there for her. She starts to feel more comfortable with him and so does Seok-ho but he still misses his wife and he can’t do that to his friend so he tries to ignore her…
