By investing in the production of an 18+ movie with the same sophistication as a mainstream movie, with a large budget and a beautiful young cast, it is clear that Vivamax wants to make a splash with Virgin Forest and they have succeeded.
In Virgin Forest, a photographer named Francis (Sid Lucero) is invited by the mayor to the remote village of Dolores located in Bukidnon, he is tasked with taking a picture of the world’s largest flower to promote the tourism potential of the small town. To help him find these flowers, the photographer is accompanied by a local guide named Roger (Vince Rillon), who knows the trails in the forest well.
However, as the two of them go deeper and deeper into the jungle, Francis realizes that something is wrong with Roger, that he is not as trustworthy as he thought. From here, stories and events unfold, mysterious and troublesome.
Not only does Virgin Forest address the growing illegal logging in the forests of the Philippines, it also condemns the trafficking of women who are kidnapped and turned into sex slaves.
