The movie opens with an intense and steamy scene between two women, who are also longtime lovers and best friends, Cristina and Nessie. However, this is also the last time they make love before Nessie marries Sean, a handsome and kind-hearted man. Yet, this passionate encounter leaves Cristina unable to forget her best friend. On the other hand, during Nessie and Sean’s first night together, Nessie feels an overwhelming emotional pain. Then one day, when Sean breaks his leg, Cristina seizes the opportunity to get close to his wife once again, setting the stage for a twisted and complicated story.
