Based on the novel of the same name by Kei Nakazawa, director Hiroshi Ando brought to the audience a rather attractive psychological film called Undulant Fever released in 2014 with a script written by Haruhiko Arai, the work received many positive comments from viewers. The first plus point that we need to mention in Undulant Fever 2014 is the beautiful young cast with quite good acting to portray the disregard in love when people are sincere.
The content of Undulant Fever revolves around the beautiful girl Emiko (Yui Ichikawa) and her love story with an older guy named Yo (Sosuke Ikematsu), both met in a journalism club at the time when Emiko was still a high school student with a dreamy, pure and innocent personality. The relationship between the two continued to develop positively, then they dated each other and after the first kiss, she gave him the most precious thing of a girl, her first time passed smoothly.
After that event, Emiko became strange when no matter what time they met, she wanted to have a physical relationship with Yo, perhaps she could no longer distinguish whether she was close to him because of love or lust.
