The story of Hidden Camera: Basic Instinct revolves around Ji-soo (played by Jeon Cho-bin), a housewife who always dreams of being loved by her husband and having a happy married life. Her husband, Tae-joo (played by Park Jeong-hwan), is a notorious debt collector who is dissatisfied with their sexual life. One day, Ji-soo discovers she is pregnant and is thrilled, believing that she will finally earn her husband’s love through their soon-to-be-born child. However, she stumbles upon footage from her husband’s car dashcam showing his infidelity. Staying calm, she comes home early one day to catch her cheating husband in the act. Shockingly, the woman sleeping with her husband turns out to be her own mother (Lee Eun-mi-I). Ji-soo begins to plot her revenge, and a mysterious man seems to be watching her every move…
